Core Products & Technology
GemFire
GemFire, the Enterprise Data Fabric (EDF), provides a scalable, distributed platform to manage increasing volumes of enterprise data and streaming events with almost zero-latency. With advanced data virtualization, distributed caching and complex event processing (CEP) capabilities, the GemFire EDF enables the delivery of actionable informatino to the right application at the right time.
The GemFire product suite includes GemFire Enterprise, GemFire Enterprise - C++, and GemFire Real-Time Events.
GemFire Enterprise
GemFire Enterprise provides a distributed data store in-memory and on-disk that delivers data at low latencies to applications in multiple formats. GemFire Enterprise is available as two products:
- GemFire Enterprise
- Standards-based, native Java product that stores data as Java objects and supports the JCache semantics.
- GemFire Enterprise-C++ edition
- Native C++ product for non-Java, non-JVM environments stores objects as C++ objects in GemFire regions.
Each of these products provides the highest level of performance, scalability and lowest latency, bar none in the industry. Both products support/will support industry-leading features such as distributed transactions and distributed querying.
GemFire Real-Time Events (RTE)
No data fabric is complete without the ability to harness intelligent data from incoming business events, regardless of the volume and speed of those events that affect the enterprise.
GemFire RTE provides a complex event processing infrastructure to process events and analyze them in conjunction with other information that is enterprise specific. The analytics is configurable with easy-to-use rules (using SQL or OQL) and applicable on a continuous basis against incoming event streams. The ‘intelligent data’ sets based on these analytics can be delivered to target systems of interest using push or pull models on a timed or real-time basis.
GemFire Enterprise acts as a data fabric that allows scalable, real-time distribution of these intelligent data sets and as a source for information for continuous analytics performed on incoming events.
GemFire JDBC Interceptor
A point solution for DB developers to accelerate DB performance by using an embedded GemFire Enterprise fabric. The easy-to-learn and deploy product enables quick deployment and demonstrates the power of the ‘enterprise data fabric’ in a quick-win.
GemStone Facets
GemStone Facets, a shared transactional Java workspace, is software that dramatically enhances the performance of complex, distributed enterprise applications. Applications running with Web servers, J2EE application servers, and Java messaging systems use GemStone Facets to achieve real-time performance. GemStone's patented technology provides thousands of users and multiple distributed applications with a logically consistent, recoverable real-time view of critical business data across islands of information.
